Summertime Fine: A Few Tips On Getting Your Body Ready for Summer

Just imagine: you are on a beach, listening to waves, breathing the fresh and salty air, and the sun is shining perfectly. You’re working on getting a perfect tan and here is the best part — your body looks amazing. Summer is almost here and this does not have to just be your imagination. The time is now to start getting ready for this beautiful experience. If this is what you really want, there is no room for being shy or lazy. Just get up and start from the beginning.

You are what you eat

When you start preparing for the beach you should make a solid plan. First task should be nutrition. Find a perfect diet for your body and write down when and what you eat. Concentrate on eating a lot of proteins like chicken, fish and turkey because they can fill you up quickly. Lose carbs such as bread, pasta and rice. Of course eat a lot of fruits and vegetables because they are rich in vitamins, and they affect the improvement of your skin (which is extremely vital). Cut down on sweets and snacks, and most importantly drink as much water as you can to stay hydrated, improve your energy level, and to clear up or keep your skin clear. 

Exercising

As well as keeping track of what you eat, you should also write down how much you exercise. Write down your current weight and the one that you would like to accomplish. This will give you a visual and reminder of your body goals. You can start by going for longer walks. Long walks are good for circulation and preparing your body for the next step. Jogging a couple of circles around the block or track is a great way to go, especially when preparing for intense cardio. You can start by doing it for 30 minutes, 3-5 times a week. You can start getting active by going to your local park and exercising on your own or with a buddy. Start with basics such as squats, push ups, pull ups, toe-touch kicking, tricep dips, and etc. Exercising outside is better than in the gym because of the fresh air and the energy that you get from the sun, but if you want professional help and advice go for it. Another tip for getting in shape and staying active in your daily routine is traveling to work by foot (if possible) or riding a bicycle to your local destinations. The key is not being lazy!

Your skin

Before going to bed at night and after waking up, you should always wash your face and then apply a moisturizer. Also exfoliate your face every other day. Exfoliation is great because it removes the dead skin which afterwards feels softer and gives an amazing glow. Exfoliation is also amazing and very necessary for your whole body and does wonders for your skin. For beach ready feet, try using a soft bristle brush and taking long, sweeping strokes from the bottom of your feet upwards and for added benefits, include the other parts of your body. Just make sure that if you're dealing with acnes and acne scars, you should consult with a doctor in professional facial rejuvenation clinic, so you don't make more damage than goods to your skin.

If you want to clean your face, you can make a natural mask on your own. Combine three tablespoons of orange juice with half a cup of honey, apply it to your face and leave it for 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Your skin will glow and it will be healthy and ready for the sun. 

Your hair

Before going to the beach and being exposed to the sun, you should go to a professional hairdresser. If necessary, find a hairstyle that you fancy the most and which fits the shape of your face. Most importantly, a hairstyle in which is best for the long, hot summer. Don’t forget to cut the dry ends and try not to dye your hair which may cause damage with the sun involved. Natural way is the best. You can make a natural mask on your own before going to the beach, you just need a quarter of a cup of warmed coconut oil - apply it to your hair and leave it for at least an hour. Wash it off and your hair will glow and it will look healthier.

Sun tanning

Last but not least, don’t forget to choose the right sunscreen for your skin type. Sunscreen will protect your skin from dangerous UV rays and it will prevent skin cancer, sunburn and wrinkles. The best sunscreens are the ones with ingredients such as like ecamsule, avobenzone, oxybenzone, titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide. Don’t forget to apply it as often as you need it, and you skin will not only look amazing — it will be protected.

Also, after the summer passes don’t forget to retain your perfect figure and tan and keep up with exercising and eating healthy food.
