RVA Fashion Week Promises Luxury On The Forefront This spring

RICHMOND, VA — Richmond Fashion Week (RVAFW) is set to honor the region’s dynamic fashion and creative industries with a series of events commencing on April 22.

Now in its 16th year, RVAFW brings together the finest designers, photographers, models, business owners, and emerging talent from across the region.

Attendees can expect a diverse array of shows, featuring presentations from jewelry makers, both established and up-and-coming designers, and an exclusive showcase from the high-end Richmond boutique, Liznel.

Chanel Nelson, founder of Liznel and executive director of RVAFW, emphasizes a focus on luxury for the upcoming season. "We’re bringing luxury to the forefront this spring — and want to captivate audiences," Nelson explains. "We want people to see the care, craftsmanship, and talent that thrives right here in their backyard."

Among the week’s highlights is the prestigious RVAFW Awards Gala, set to take place at The Hilton Richmond Downtown. Awards will be presented for categories including Designer of the Year, Rising Star, and the Vanguard Change-maker Award.

The week culminates with the Spring Finale Show at the John Marshall Ballrooms, featuring luxury designers such as CHRISTA, The Aziancy, Luxury Professionals, Jame’t Jackson, MO and Suit Brother by David Harrell.
