Open Ceremony/Accessory Designer Show

Where: Vagabond, 700 E. Broad St.
What: The week launches with a spectacular Opening Ceremony and Designer Jewelry Showcase featuring a live exhibit of models showing handcrafted Richmond accessories from Claė by Hope Laramore (@Clae.co) and Ginger’s Love by Maranda Pair (@Gingers.love.llc) Attendees will feel the vibrant fashion scene, mingle with Virginia’s top creatives and trendsetters, and enjoy delectable bites and craft cocktails.

Emerging Designers Show
When: 7-9:30 p.m.
Where: The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design, 2501 Monument Ave.
What: New talent will step on their first runway in this show celebrating new looks from emerging designers: LEVE by Amani Daylie (@leve.clothing), SIRE 711 by Eris Aubrie (@Sire_711) and Suigens by Noel Calubaquib (@Suigens). A night of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and a runway experience to remember.

Wellness Wednesday
When: 6 a.m.-8 p.m. (MOSTLY SUGAR SOCIAL, INFLUENCE WELL, IS AT PURE GREEN FROM 2-4PM)
Where: Throughout Richmond
What: The importance of health, wellness and renewal is highlighted. We invite participants to rest and reset. The day includes a 6 a.m. HIIT workout with the November Project, 10 a.m. Stretch class with Baker Unified Fitness, and a 12:15 p.m. Virtual Lunch chat with The Shine Center. As we close out the day of events we’ll stop by Pure Green for Influence Well, an influencer social where we’ll connect over delicious and healthy smoothies. Our last stop will be an UNPLUGGED Creative Wellness Panel at Kava Club, hosted by Chanel N. (@Chanelthecreative). What: Guests will be welcomed into the world of Liznel (@theliznel), where everything is XTRAORDINARY. This female-owned brand is excited to be curating the event alongside Claė by Hope Laramore and Society 11:11 by Brittany Johnson and Candice Hardy. Attendees are asked to wear the color palette of brown, tan, beige and off-white, representing earth tones to underscore our season of bloom. FLOURISH is a representation of the Liznel woman — bold, unique and on the way up. Liznel is here to elevate confidence and encourage women to leave their footprint all over the world. What: Guests are invited to an interactive art experience with the creatives behind the Virginia fashion industry. Enjoy live exhibits, professional photographers and curated installations. Come see a sneak peek of designs that will rock the runway Sunday. Meet designers, mingle with the models and spark your imagination. This event benefits RIFF Arts Institute (RAI). RVAFW is partnering with Markus Gold (@markusxgold) to host “THE LIST” after-party at The Hideaway inside The Park RVA.

Richmond Fashion Week Awards Gala
When: 6-9:30 p.m.
Where: Hilton Richmond Downtown, 501 E. Broad St.
What: The RVAFW fashion community celebrates the people who bring the industry to life. A night of hors d’oeuvres, VIP dinner and a toast to some of the best in the industry. We’ll announce Best of the Year awards in design, beauty, photography, rising stars and more. Come dress to impress in gowns and suits. Help us honor the people who contribute to the success of RVAFW.
Sunday, April 28
Spring Finale Show
When: Doors 4:30 p.m., Show 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Where: John Marshall Ballrooms, 101 N. 5th St.
What: Join us for the crowning jewel of Richmond Fashion Week, featuring some of the most successful luxury brands in Virginia. Seasoned designers of the industry will intersect with new talent fostered at the VCU School of Design. Prepare for exquisite designs from Jame’t by Jame’t Jackson (@Jamaybelline), Ryan Azia by The Aziancy (@the_aziancy), Suit Brother by David Harrell (@TheSuitBrother), Mo McGraw by Mo McGraw, Christa by Katelyn Mitchell (@Christa._.designs) and Luxury Professionals by Latoya Parham (@Luxury_Professionals). This will be a night of glamour to benefit the Forward Foundation. A RVAFW Grand Finale post reception hosted by The Foundation closes out the week with a toast, bites and goodbyes until next season.
