Multimedia Production Internship
Mostly Sugar Media internships are designed as educational, portfolio-building experiential opportunities intended to provide meaningful exposure to the day-to-day operations of a modern media company.
Location: Hybrid/In-Person Preferred (Richmond, VA)
Internship Term Options:
Summer 2026 Cohort — Begins June 1, 2026
Fall 2026 Cohort — Begins August 24, 2026
Commitment: Approximately 8–12 flexible hours per week
Compensation: Unpaid Experiential Internship / College Credit Eligible if Applicable
Mostly Sugar Media is seeking visually creative, detail-oriented, and media-minded interns to join our Multimedia Production Internship track as part of the Summer and Fall 2026 Internship Program.
This internship is ideal for aspiring videographers, photographers, editors, and multimedia creatives interested in gaining direct experience creating polished visual media content in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, culture, and event environments.
Interns will assist with content capture, short-form editing, visual storytelling, and behind-the-scenes production support for Mostly Sugar Media’s campaigns, interviews, activations, and branded events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with on-site video capture and photography at Mostly Sugar Media events, interviews, activations, and shoots
Edit short-form reels, TikToks, teaser videos, recap videos, and social-first promotional content
Assist with behind-the-scenes footage capture and content organization
Help produce promotional visual assets for campaigns and launches
Support basic photo editing, clip sorting, media management, and file organization
Collaborate on creative visual storytelling concepts
Assist with timely content turnaround for events and digital campaigns
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience or strong interest in videography, photography, or editing
Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, or similar editing tools
Strong visual eye and understanding of social-first content
Ability to work in fast-paced event settings when needed
Interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and culture media
