PR + Events Internship
Mostly Sugar Media is looking for an organized, proactive college student who’s passionate about building relationships, planning events, and creating buzz. You’ll support brand partnerships, assist with event logistics, and help manage media outreach that highlights the culture and style that drive our community. Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating virtual and in-person events
Support PR outreach, including drafting press materials and managing media lists
Help build and maintain influencer and partner contact databases
Contribute to creating pitch decks, event briefs, and partnership proposals
Manage event logistics such as RSVPs, vendor communication, and on-site support
Monitor event promotions and social buzz
Administrative Tasks: Track budgets, schedule meetings, and organize files
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, culture, and event planning
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with a proactive approach
Must be a current college student or recent graduate (preferably rising juniors, seniors, or recent grads)
Majoring or interested in communications, public relations, marketing, event management, hospitality, or related fields
Experience with event coordination, media relations, or PR campaigns is a plus
